It exposes sample materials to extreme heat conditions and it is as easy to use as any ordinary average temperature electric furnace. It consists of a cylindrical furnace. The samples are loaded from below and it is mainly used to heat crucibles inserted and removed from the furnace by means of a vertical traverse device. It can be used of instance for melting tests, pellet and gem treatments.
