GME/S furnaces are used in those processes developing harmful fumes and gases that can damage the resistors and the insulated cladding. For this reason, they are fitted with a tight muffle used to shield the resistors and with a forced extraction fume hood used to expel harmful volatiles, while maintaining all the features of GME furnaces. The extraction fan can be operated either manually or automatically when opening the door.
