HEATING ELEMENTS
The range of tube furnaces is divided into three groups TOL Resistance wire wound heating elements for temperature up to 1300°C.
TOH Silicon carbide heating rods for temperature up to 1400°C.
TOK Molybdenum disilicide heating elements for temperature up to 1700°C.
Each group includes different furnace designs: HORIZONTAL - VERTICAL - SPLIT - MULTIZONE CONTROL whose cambination is shown on the table below.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
A wide selection of controller are available to match the accuracy requested by the thermal process.
- LTC Electronic temperature controller with digital setting and degital reading. Logic output to a power contactor or solid state relay.
- MTC Microprocessor based, controller. Three term control actions (P.I.D.), analogic output to a solid date power control.
- MTP Microprocessor based, 16 Segment programmable controller, three term control actions (P.I.D.), analogic output to a solid state power controller.
- Microprocessor based instruments are available with computer interface capability via a RS 232 port. Multizone furnaces are equipped with two or more controller according to the number of the zone. The temperature of the zones is controlled by indipendent loops or by a "Master Slave" loop connected to differential thermocouples. Other options are avaiable on special demand.
THERMOCOUPLE
Three type of thermoelectric junction are used:
- TOL: K = NiCr / NiAl
- TOH: S = Pt / PtRh 10%
- TOK: B = PtRh 6% / PtRh 30%

TOL HORIZ.

TOL HORIZONTAL:
The size of the working tube ranges from a minimum of 16/mm up to 130/mm inner diameter. The heated lenght ranges from a minimum of 150/mm up to 900/mm (as approx: guideline the heating lenght should be 8 times the diameter).
The TOL HORIZONTAL
units are as general rule, of bench top type. The furnace is mounted on top of control box case whose dimensions depends from the temperature control equipment and from the power transformer (1300°C. low voltage elements). |
TOL VERTICAL:
The size of the working tube has the same range of the horizontal. The round case is equipped qith plates or bars for ease of installation on the aiready existing frame or support. Large units are supplied with tubular stand for floor installation. Remote control box or rack cupboard are supplied according to the number of the power controller.
NOTE: Thermocouple calibration vertical furnaces are manufactured in compliance with American standards. Tol Vertical and horizontal furnace are also available in split version. Two hinged halves permit to fit furnace around a tube process or prearranged device (ie. Hot tensile stress test machine). |

TOL VERT. SPLIT |
TOH HORIZONTAL:
The size of the working tube ranges from a minimum of 50/mm up to 120/mm. The heated lenght ranges from a minimum of 300/mm up to 900/mm. According to the number of the temperature control instrument and to the type of the power controller two basic designs of the case are supplied. Bench top mounted with integral control box. Floor standing mounted with integral control box. |

TOH VERT. |
TOH VERTICAL :
The size of the working tube has the same range of the horizontal. The design of the case is octagonal to allow the mounting of the heating rods in double-cross row configuration. The case lays on a tubular stand for floor installation and for the access to the lower end of the working tube. Remote control box or rack cupboard are supplied according to the number of temperature controlled zones ant to the type of power controller.
NOTE: Toh Vertical furnace is also available in split version. Two hinged halves permit to fit furnace around a tube process or prearranged device (ie. Hot tensile stress test machine). |
TOK HORIZONTAL:
The size of the working tube ranges from a minimum of 50/mm up to 100/mm. The lenght of the heated zone is 200-400-600-800/mm. (Multiple zone control not available for 200/mm zone lenght). The Horizontal TOK unit are designed for floor stnding installation. The furnace is mounted into upper part of the case while the temperature and power controllers are located into the lower part. The lower part also includes gas distribution and metering device when the furnace is equipped with accessories to carry out processes under inert-gases or Hydrogen. |

TOK V. Lift-tilt

TOK VERTICAL:
The vertical TOK unit includes the furnaces mounted on top of floor standing frame and a remote control cupboard which contains the temperature and power controllers. The height of the floor standing frame depends from the loading and the unloading procedure. If the procedure unit must be performed trought the bottom opening, a lifting mechanism is supplied to transfer materials in and out.
Several options are available.
